Actor, producer, theatre manager, events organiser, estate agent, playwright, anglophone advisor at the Mairie of Amélie-les-Bains Palalda,  Ian Stephens  hasn’t had a haircut for 20 years so he makes a pretty good 17th Century French playwright, and poet. (Those who know him, can you see the  resemblance?)

Don't miss this opportunity to poke fun at the English (and a little at the French) Stand up comedy with Ian Stephens.
Molière

Ian

Oh, and he is also a comedian!

Don’t miss this clever and funny guy…and an opportunity to poke fun at the English (and a little at the French) by comparing two of the countries’ greatest playwrights, as well as the observations of an Englishman in the south of France.
A stand-up comedy show, pretending to be based on 17th century literature but actually explaining the English refusal to learn other languages, why Brian is always in the kitchen, and exploring why it took Charles so long to become king.
Mostly in French, apart from the Shakespeare scenes/quotes, “but pretty basic French as it’s me!” Ian tells us.  “Actually haven’t written anything yet, but I’ve got three weeks yet. My first foray into stand-up so I’m quite nervous (mostly of being let down by my memory/my French!”
