A first for Perpignan airport : simplifying the life of pilots
Did you know: 90% of flights in and out of Perpignan airport are non-commercial flights (private planes, freight, helicopters…)?
To simplify logistics for this over-whelming majority, the airport has decided to dematerialize its administrative procedures, switching to the “MyDz Air Mobility” application: a first in France.
Just one year ago, Denis Leluc, Director of Perpignan-Rivesaltes Airport suggested that the co-founders of MyDz, Damien de Bellevue and Daniel Frelet-Desclaux, test their application at our very own Perpignan airport.
The app is now live and available to general aviation pilots. It will allow users to complete their PPR (Prior Permission Request) from any browser, whether mobile, tablet or computer.

The secure site means pilots can log in, lodge and pay for their PPR up to 24 hours in advance of their arrival/departure.
For Damien de Bellevue, co-founder of MyDz, “information too often follows the aircraft when it could, and should, precede it. MyDz saves time for all stakeholders in general aviation, from pilots to accountants and air traffic controllers. Anticipating air traffic is a simple way to provide the best service to general aviation”.
According to director, Denis Leluc, “it has always been our policy to improve our services for all users of our platform. To do this, innovating and renewing is an obligation, being a “pilot” is therefore part of our DNA”.
