Too many cherries? Cherry Brandy anyone?

Cherry Brandy

Score cherries complete with stones, place in a sterilised jar, alternating each layer with sugar (scant or plentiful depending on your taste).

Fill to the top before adding brandy.

Leave to infuse for a minimum of a fortnight.

Serve in a long glass with lemonade and ice

  1. We did it with Bourbon last year which was also very good. We would love to do it with ‘brandy’ but can’t seem to find it; all we ever see is expensive ‘cognac’. I know you can get it in Spain just about everywhere, but what about in France?
