Autumn may be behind us, spring may be up ahead….but winter has much to praise here in the Pyrénées-Orientales.

Many dry, sunny days, and yes, cloud, wind and rain too, but there aren’t that many so take those as duvet days.

Snow on the distant mountains, skiing just an hour away, amazing sunrises and sunsets, a chance to wear that big floppy jumper or wrap up in something toasty, hot wine, hot chocolate, cuddles in front of a roaring log fire, curling up under a blanket in front of the telly or a DVD, silly ski hats, fantastic cloud formations, homemade soups, rainbows…….and watching nature slowly springing back to life to welcome the spring.

Happy winter. Stay warm, and enjoy some of the fabulous photos of winter in the P-O.
