Oooops! One of the latest Airbuses, the A321, performing a test flight from Toulouse to Perpignan, landed on Perpignan’s runway 33 but struck its tail onto the runway surface. The aircraft was unable to continue its test schedule due to the damage received, but was able to be flown back from Perpignan to Toulouse where it will be repaired.

“These things happen,” said Airbus President/CEO Fabrice Bregier.

Hope it never happens when I’m on board!
