So We’ll Go No More a Roaming
From June 15, (just in time for the summer holidays), roaming charges will be abolished following a vote in the European Parliament.
Holidaymakers will no longer be charged extortionate fees for the privilege of using their phones and tablets abroad, with calls being capped at 3.2 cents per minute, 1 cent for a text.
If you have a mobile contract in an EU country, calls, texts and even internet access will be charged at your normal rate, no matter what the EU country.
