This walk, very close to the town of Port Vendres, is a gentle exploration of 2 beautiful, wild and exposed headlands, separated by a deep but charming rocky creek; Anse de la Mauresque and combines a historical realisation with the ruggedness of the rocky coast and wonderful panoramic views.

This is one of our favourite walks which we have done many times. The views are stunning, wild flowers, rosemary, thyme, lavender and gorse. The smell is wonderful at any time of the year.
A lovely walk up through the forest to the Ermitage de Notre Dame du Coral followed by lunch at the Auberge and the same walk back down to Lamanère. It is just under 6 km and takes about 2 hours even for slower walkers.
