Only 15 minutes from Perpignan centre (direction Porte d’Espagne/Barcelona) the lake at Villeneuve-de-la-Raho is used all year round for walkers and joggers, and also provides the water necessary for the ’canadairs’ in case of forest fires.
This circular walk of 31/4 hrs includes time to enjoy the scenery and visit the Chateau d’Evol.

Walk Les Balcons de Laroque, a 3hrs- 3hrs.30 circular walk up the hills with 450 metres of ascent, which is all in the first half of the walk. Well signed route with yellow waymarks.
