Thousands of holidaymakers could be affected by strikes this summer as Ryanair pilots announce a strike for July 12 in protest against working conditions. The strike is due to last for 24 hours, starting at 1am on 12 July.

Joncet bypass now open. Heading up to the ski slopes this winter? Spare a thought for the 60 or so ‘joncétois’, residents of Joncet who have watched 5000 vehicles per day, many of them lorries, thunder through the tiny village for many a ski season.
The rolling strikes carry on. Check out the dates to avoid train travel in May and June, affecting two out of every five days over a three-month period.
