Motorbiking the region: Orgues, Gorges, Cathars, Romans and Dams- with Leigh and Merry Foster. This is one of our favourite rides, as it includes some spectacular scenery, lovely winding mountain roads, and lots of fascinating places to stop and explore. You could equally do it by car, but we find the motorbike more fun and easier to pull off the road to look at the beautiful views in safety.
Be prepared for company when you hike up the loaf-shaped hill overlooking Oms for a sunset apero or picnic, because friendly goats with Vogue hair will gladly share their paradise with you. The path up La Calcine is steep in parts but the spectacular 360° views are more than worth the effort.
High above the village of Sorède, you will find the ruggedly impressive ruins of the Château d’Ultrera – the Castle of the Vulture

A circular walk of 11 kilometres exploring the group of dolmens above the pretty village of St Michel de Llotes.
A straightforward circular walk of 8.5 kilometres up to les Monts d’Estagel on easy pistes and tracks with some portions of road, This walk offers great views of the Corbières ridges and valleys and beyond with a steep section up a lovely rocky valley.
