Suzette Bloch : Chinese Paintings
“I don’t paint a flower, I paint the wind in the flower. I seek to restore the vital breaths that animate the universe by capturing the internal lines of things and by fixing, thanks to the line, the relations that they maintain between them”. This is how Suzette Bloch, former journalist at Agence France Presse and resident of Argelès, describes the artistic approach that has been driving her for many years.

Invité d’Honneur : Michel Folliot
“Atmoshpere and Light” is a stunning exhibition of oil on canvas pieces by Normandy born and bred, Michel Folliot. As with other great Impressionist painters, the changing light of the Normandy countryside inspired Folliot from a very young age. Training under Allain Renoux, he has developed a sensitivity, a poetry within his figurative canvases, which has seen him invited to exhibit around the world.
