Bearman Xtreme Triathlon. According to Red Bull this is one of the hardest Iron Men distance events in the world! Participants start with a 3.8km swim at the lake in St Jean Pla de Corts. They then embark on a 180km bike ride, up and through the Col de Llauro, Col de Fourtou and Col Xatard before descedning back down to Prats de Mollo. Finally, a gruelling 42km run will bring them back to the finish line in Amélie les Bains. With competitors from all over the world, this is a spectacle to behold! Website. |
